This weblog began in September 1996. 27 years on, the time has come to make a change.

Nearly 3 a long time after I started my dwelling automation journey, I’ve discovered my good dwelling nirvana. It was a protracted and winding street, and it’s been stuffed with nice experiences, not least the numerous friendships made alongside the way in which.

Common readers may have observed a discount within the quantity of posts although, particularly since we completed our Automated Residence 2.0 self-build venture in 2020. My spare time has largely been taken up on one other venture (on electrical automobiles) over the previous few years and It could be an awesome disgrace to let Automated Residence fizzle out. So I’m delighted to say that I’ve reached an settlement to see the weblog proceed.
