Test/Silence via the Remote Control
The X-Sense RC01 Pro remote controller (sold separately) is compatible with all X-Sense Link+ wireless alarms. Once they are connected, simply push the button on the remote to test or silence all interlinked alarms, with no need to stretch to reach the silence button on the device.
Customizable Wireless Network
All the X-Sense Link+ alarms in a multi-pack are pre-connected. You can add a new device to the existing network, disconnect the devices to create new groups, or connect two separate devices. To connect the alarms, quickly press the test/silence button on either unit 4 times and then press the test/silence button on the other unit twice.
Quickly Locate the Source Alarm
When one device is triggered, all other wireless interconnected smoke detectors in the interlinked system will also go off. To identify the source alarm, simply press the test/silence button on one of the alarms. If all the alarms go silent, the alarm you pressed is the source alarm, but if one alarm is still going off then that alarm is the source alarm.
10-Year Battery Life
This smoke detector features an enclosed lithium battery that lasts for 10 years, protecting you and your family against fires day and night for a decade without battery replacement. Simply replace the entire smoke alarm at the end of its 10-year life.
Accurate Smoke Detection
A photoelectric sensor makes this smoke detector with 10-year battery more sensitive to large smoke particles from smoldering fires and less sensitive to water vapor/steam in the kitchen. This ensures accurate detection of smoke from slow-burning fires, while giving the possible earliest warning.
Insect-Proof Design
This battery-operated smoke detector is carefully designed with an insect-proof screen to prevent insects and dust from entering the device and triggering a false alarm. This ensures the detector works reliably and detects smoke accurately.
