Product Description

This eccentric cone flaring tool creates 45° flares on soft copper, brass, aluminum, or stainless steel pipes. It’s widely used in HVAC, air conditioner, air heater, and refrigerator maintenance.

Steps:

1. Cut the tube.

2. Remove burrs.

3. Slide a nut onto the tube.

4. Loosen the position rod and handle, then place the bar into the black flaring slot.

5. Insert the flaring bar (with spring) into the block’s arrow-hole end.

6. Open the clamp, set the copper limit piece to the pipe size, and insert the tube until it touches the limit piece.

7. Insert the clamp into the yoke until the ball locks in the correct position (yoke edge aligns with the clamp’s mark line), then tighten the fixing rod.

8. Turn the handle clockwise; after the clutch disconnects, rotate 2–3 more turns for a smoother flare.

9. Retract the cone, loosen the rod, open the clamp, and remove the tube.
