How can I make sure that my garage door is compatible with the Refoss garage door opener before installation?

Connect the test wire (or pliers) to the terminals where your current wall buttons are connected. If the garage opens or closes, your garage is compatible with the Refoss Smart Garage Door Opener.

Can the existing wall button still be used after installing the Refoss app?

Yes. You can control your garage door with the app or an existing switch.
