This Waterdrop WDP-F07 replacement water filter for Whirlpool refrigerator is comprehensively certified by NSF against NSF/ANSI 401, 53, 42 &372 Standards test from each component to the filter cartridge as a whole to achieve a supreme filtration performance. This filter has been strictly certified by NSF 401 to reduce phenytoin, naproxen, estrone and bisphenol A. Asides it has also been tested according to NSF/ANSI 53 standards to reduce lead, benzene, mercury, PFOA&PFOS in water.
[Carefully chosen materials] Waterdrop uses coconut shell carbon blocks supplied from Sri Lanka that have enlarged surface area and more micropores than inferior carbon blocks. The filter cartridge is far more effective in reducing levels of chlorine, dirt, sediment, rust, and a wide range of heavy metals tested by a third-party laboratory. Based on our high attention to detail, we selected a BPA-free, food-grade housing for the filter that exceeds NSF 372 lead-free filtration certification.
