If your router supports both 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands, please disable the 5GHz WiFi temporarily, The door sensor will only connect to the 2.4GHz network. Once the door/window security sensor is successfully connected to the 2.4GHz network, you can re-enable the 5GHz WiFi on your router. The smart door sensor will remain connected to the 2.4GHz band at all times.The door alarms will send instant notifications to your smartphone when the door or window is opened or closed.This feature of window sensors for security allows you to monitor your home while you’re away.
