Turn the alarm body counterclockwise and take off the bracket.Hold the bracket in the installation position as specified in the Recommended Locations,mark installation holes of the bracket with pencil.Drill the two marked installation holes with a 3/16 inch(5mm)drill bit.Tap the two plastic gromments into holes with hammer.Mount the bracket to the ceiling by inserting and tightening the supplied screws into plastic grommets.Fix the alarm on the bracket and turn the alarm body clockwise , until fully inserted on the bracket.

Maintenance Tips
1. This product requires regular maintenance to ensure that it works properly.
2. When you receive the product for the first time, please check the working condition of the detector: after installing the battery, the device will start automatically. Press the “Test” button and the device will emit an alarm signal for a few seconds, indicating that the device is operating normally. Afterwards, the LCD display will remain static and the green LED will flash once every 60 seconds, indicating that the device is in normal operating condition.
3. lt is recommended that the product be mounted on a ceiling or wall to ensure that smoke or carbon monoxide can enter the smoke inlet and make contact with the sensor without difficulty.
4. Clean the detector weekly by gently wiping with a soft brush or dry cloth to maintain its sensitivity.
5. The detector is equipped with an alarm threshold that will trigger the alarm only when the smoke or carbon monoxide concentration reaches a preset value.
6. Grease and dust may clog the smoke inlet and prevent smoke or carbon monoxide from entering the detector. lf the detector is installed in the kitchen or garage, it is recommended to keep it away from cooking or dusty areas.
7. To ensure that the product is fully charged and maintains sensitivity, it is recommended that the batteries be replaced every three months.
