With the newly added vibration sensor, MultiSensor 7 makes your environment secure like never before. MultiSensor 7 is a part of Aeotec Gen7 range of Z-Wave products. That means that it outperforms all that has come before it. It’s built around the latest Z-Wave 700 series chip and firmware, providing a 50% greater wireless range and a 250% faster communication speed over previous Z-Wave products. It has AES 128 bit security encryption built right in. You need a Z-Wave gateway which operates with the 700 series chip products to take full advantage of the device. Please consult the manufacturer of your Z-Wave hub to make sure it supports all MultiSensor 7 features. Power As You Need It

MultiSensor 7 ships with two CR123 batteries. The performance of the 700 series chip provides longer battery life compared to MultiSensor 6. Of course, for demanding applications you can elect to provide constant power via the included USB cable. Powerful options for a powerful sensor.

Z-Wave Hub Required

MultiSensor 7 uses Z-Wave Plus to communicate wirelessly. That means you’ll need a Z-Wave hub to use it.
