Product Description
Positioning By Zones, Stay Connected to Your Home
Zone positioning offers significant advantages over PIR sensors by monitoring rooms of up to 40㎡ (ca. 430 sq ft), and dividing them into up to 30 zones. It is suitable for variety of use cases based on the actual presence, which makes the automation configuration simpler than ever before.
The FP2 supports detecting up to 5 people simultaneously, ideal for multi-occupant households. It’s versatile for home automation, security, and energy management. Additionally, its AI Person Detection feature filters out interference like robot vacuums and pets, ensuring reliable alerts.
AI Sleep Monitoring
The FP2 offers independent sleep monitoring without wearables. It provides historical reports of sleep monitoring.
*Please install the device near the head of bed, between 0.8m-1m in height.
1>N, Why Is It Revolutionary?
You will not need several sensors to detect different areas within a room, and careful configuration of each sensor. With FP2, you will get multiple PIR sensors and even one extra light sensor.
Captures Slightest Movements with Maximum Privacy
By implementing mmwave radar technology, the FP2 provides precise detection, even for the slightest of movements. It is also recording-free and wearable-free, ensuring maximum privacy for users.
Stay Proactive When Someone Falls Down
By mounting FP2 on the ceiling and activating fall detection mode, when someone falls, *after 1-2 seconds, it will detect and alert you through the app, thereby minimizing the risk of injury.
Local Automations
Wi-Fi doesn’t mean being dependent on the cloud. The FP2 can easily execute automations locally, ensuring uninterrupted operation even without an internet connection.
The built-in light sensor allows for advanced automations based on illuminance levels.
It supports wall mounting, ceiling installation(only for Falling Detection), and angle adjustment.
The latest update introduces a new installation method enabling placement in the corner of a room.
The sensor can be installed in humid environments such as bathrooms and outdoors under a roof.
1 Built-in Light Sensor
2 Flexible Installation
3 New Corner Mounting
4 IPX5-rated
Wake-Up automations that don’t bother others
The FP2 can detect, if someone is still in bed, and the Wake-Up automation will not be triggered in case another person wakes up.
*Please note:If you want to automate interactions with other Aqara sub-devices, you need an Aqara hub.
Accent lighting that follows you
The lighting can now follow you around the room: only the lights near you will turn on, while other lights will turn off one you leave the area.
*Please note:If you want to automate interactions with other Aqara sub-devices, you need an Aqara hub.
[Installation Method] With the new installation method for the FP2, you can now mount it in the corner of a room. Just attach the included angle mount and switch to the corresponding mode in the app. This setting eliminates dead zones caused by the sensor’s angle and rotates the room layout by 45 degrees, allowing for enhanced zone detection and more automation options.
[Multi-Person &Zone Positioning] The Aqara Presence Sensor FP2 can simultaneously detect up to 5 people and trigger different scenarios and automation. Moreover, the FP2(2.4GHz Wi-Fi REQUIRED) offers significant advantages over PIR infrared motion sensors by using a single radar sensor to monitor rooms of up to 40 m² (430 sq ft). You can also divide it into up to 30 zones, such as sofa, bed or desktop, etc. and set up individual automations for each zone. It is like having several PIR sensors at the same time with one Presence Sensor FP2. Please note: the FP2 is a wired sensor that should be constantly powered.
[Sleep monitoring& Fall Detection] You can install FP2 next to the bed and select the sleep monitoring mode to sense the human body’s sleep status in real time and generate a sleep health report. Moreover, you also can mount the FP2 on the ceiling and choose the Falling Detection Mode, which will detect and alert you through the app if someone falls. (Note: The FP2 is not a medical device, and can only be used for notification purposes)
[Multi-Ecosystem Support] The Aqara Presence Sensor FP2 is exposed as multiple sensors to HomeKit, Alexa, Samsung SmartThings and Home Assistant. (Note: The device can be added directly to Home Assistant using HomeKit Controller integration) You can integrate the sensor easily without requiring an Aqara hub, which is a great solution for smart home enthusiasts.
[Ultra-High Precision, Privacy, and Enhanced Features]By implementing millimeter-wave radar technology, the Presence Sensor FP2 provides precise detection of movement without false negatives, even for slight movements. No camera monitoring system maximizes privacy. With IPX5, it can be installed in wet environments. Additionally, it has a built-in light sensor for flexible lighting automations (Only available in Aqara Home, HomeKit, and IFTTT). Automations of FP2 are executed without sending to the cloud and will keep working even if there is no internet connection.
