Stability Issue?
Check your base!
The tripod legs should extend out wide enough that the crossbars should be parallel to the floor below!
We have reviewed some customer images and found that the tripod legs simply needed to be extended out much farther! : )
Central Pole
When fully extended, there should be 3 stages of the central pole.
Horizontal Extender should only fit the TOP section of the tripod (above the upper snap lock).
*In rare cases, if the top section does not extend out easily, that means the metal rivet got stuck in the tube from temperature pressure in the shipping container.
To fix, simply attach the hanger head for leverage, then pull up hard to release it. It will work properly after the rivet is no longer stuck.
Will it fit?
Measure the interior of your suitcase. Then compare the stand’s storage dimensions (Deluxe 6.5″ x 25.5″ and Travel Pro 4.5″ x 19.5″)
Check your flight’s luggage size requirements– they vary per airline, per plane size and Domestic vs. International travel.
“Carry-on size” dimensions vary per luggage company– use of the term is not regulated. Always check the interior dimensions.

Adjustable Hanger Head
3-Position Adjustable Hanger Head – The Steamer Stand features a versatile Hanger Head with 3-positions specifically designed for easy steaming:
Closed: Position for putting garments on the stand, for taking them off, and for storing.Hanger: Ideal for standard steaming positions & when using the Clip Guides for pants, skirts, etc.Open: Opens garment up for even easier steaming & minimizing garment sway movement.
Removable & Adjustable Clip Guides – Unique to The Steamer Stand this feature allows you to adjust width of the clip guides to fit the garment width and easily flip the garment over for steaming on each side without the hassle of unclipping, repositioning, and re-clipping.
The Clip Guide should only be attached when actively using it to steam an item.
When it’s not needed, keep it out of the way by placing it in the included storage bag.
Extends up to various heights
TRAVEL PRO: extends from 20.25″ up to 67-5/8″ tall with a 25-5/8″ diameter metal tripod base.
DELUXE: extends from 29.5″ up to 69.25″ tall with a 30.5″ diameter metal tripod base.
TRIPOD BASE STABILIZING:
Extend the tripod legs out until the crossbars are parallel to the floor (crossbars are the slats between the tripod legs and the center pole)
then turn the knob to secure base for steaming.
The snap-lock system ensures quick and secure height adjustments, making it effortless to customize the stand’s height for different garment types.
Deluxe Model’s Horizontal Extender
Unique to The Steamer Stand DELUXE, this removable and adjustable piece can be attached to the TOP section of the central pole and slide up and down to desired location within the TOP section.
The arms move in/out from 13″ to 26.5″ to spread out the item’s fabric to ensure smooth steaming results.
The horizontal extension of the fabric also helps in stabilizing the garment, for efficient, sway free steaming.
This accessory should only be attached when actively using it to steam an item.
When it’s not needed, keep it out of the way by placing it in the included storage bag.
