The Dynamic E002 manual salad spinner accommodates six to eight heads of lettuce with its 5-gallon capacity. One of the most important tasks for restaurants that have a salad bar or serve salads to customers on a regular basis is to make sure that the lettuce they are serving is not wet. The water, when left on leaves, causes the lettuce to spoil more quickly. Therefore, its important to dry the leaves, whether they are iceberg, romaine, or Butterhead. When washed your greens are placed in the spinner and the handle is turned, centrifugal force is applied, forcing water to separate from the lettuce. Without water on the greens, salad dressings will stick to the leaves without diluting them. Lightweight and easy to clean, the SD92 is HACCP compliant and ETL certified for sanitation, conforming to NSF standards. Injection molded for precise component fit, finish, weight and balance.
