The Dynamic E001 manual salad spinner accommodates up to 4 heads of lettuce with its 2.5-gallon capacity. The water, when left on leaves, causes the lettuce to spoil more quickly. Therefore, its important to dry the leaves, whether they are iceberg, romaine, or Butterhead. When washed your greens are placed in the spinner and the handle is turned, centrifugal force is applied, forcing water to separate from the lettuce. Without water on the greens, salad dressings will stick to the leaves without diluting them.
