Remotely control lamps from any Insteon controller. Features include the ability to set the speed at which the light fades on and off – giving you a smooth transition from dark to light or light to dark. Also can be preset to only turn on at your preferred light level. Control it from any number of Insteon controllers such as Mini Remotes, Wall Keypads, Motion Sensors and more. Smartphone control and Alexa or Google Assistant control is possible by pairing to the Insteon Hub (2245-222). Alexa device or Google Assistant-enabled device sold separately.

This device uses Insteon dual-mesh wireless protocol for fast, reliable communication. Using a combination of radio and powerline to communicate elevates its ability to be controlled further than any other smart plug on the market. This unique wireless communication does not interfere with or burden your Wi-Fi network unlike other smart plugs.

Compatible with incandescent or halogen bulbs up to 300 Watts. Can also be used with most dimmable LED bulbs (dimming ranges vary).

Not recommended for use with lamps that have a built-in dimming control. If you choose to use it with such a lamp, be sure to set the dimming control to full-on and leave it in that position.
