Say hello to SIFTR. The micro silicone colander, that makes cooking fast, clean and efficient.

Designed to fit and work with any size of can (see below for can sizing), SIFTR lets you drain, strain and contain food without needing to make a mess or waste as much water as a conventional colander.

Conventional colanders and sieves are massive. They’re best for draining potatoes and pasta, not for getting liquid out of cans. They lead to a lot more wasted water, when all you need is SIFTR on the can, and a good shake to flush out any residue inside with a small amount of tap water.

Any Size Of Can!

SIFTR fits easily to any standard-sized can, but can work with larger and smaller ones too.

For cans smaller than 73mm, SIFTR can be sat on top. For cans larger than 73mm, SIFTR can either be stretched or (for 20oz cans) fit inside the brim. Easy!

Extra Uses!

SIFTR has so many extra uses. The most commonly used is catching pips when squeezing lemons and limes. Place the cut fruit inside and squeeze the whole thing in your hand – the juice flows out and the pips stay inside! Clean and easy for disposal.

Some of our other favourite uses include straining cocktails, stopping drains getting blocked, keeping used utensils off the kitchen worktop and making loose-leaf tea.

Dishwasher-Safe

Shown here holding herbs in a pan of boiling water, SIFTR is safe up to 300°c and is completely dishwasher safe. Either rinse by hand or pop in the dishwasher after use.

In addition to being heat resistant, SIFTR also prevents exposure to sharp edges – no more cut fingers using the lid to strain a can.
