EASY INSTALLATION –The use of included instructions and template ensures a quick and easy installation. The deadlock is a surface-mounted, cross-bolt locking device which can be mounted to 1-3/8” to 2-3/8” thick, wood or metal doors. It can be installed inside or outside, on left- or right-hinged doors.

INCLUDES – This door lock includes an angled strike, a rim cylinder, two keys (keyed differently), a cylinder trim ring, fasteners, a mounting plate, instructions and a tamper-resistant shutter guard. This lock requires a 1-1/4” hole and uses Kwikset keyway.
INSTALLATION TIP – Snap-off or cut-off end sections of tailpiece as needed, if it is too long for your door. Having the tailpiece too long can negatively affect the performance of the lock. Use pliers to snap-off, a hacksaw or small disk to cut-off, and a file to remove sharp edges and burrs. Position the deadbolt mounting plate on the inside of the door with raised side facing the outside of door to ensure flush installation of inside lock assembly.
