Use pliers to short the wall button terminals, if the garage door opens or closes, it works. Otherwise, please go to point 2.

If step 1 fails and your garage opener is from Chamberlain/LiftMaster/Craftsman. RSG100HK will still work(needs an extra accessory). Please send refoss support team the learn button color of your garage opener, we will send you the proper accessory separately for free.

Connect the test wire (or pliers) to the terminals where your current wall buttons are connected. If the garage opens or closes, your garage is compatible with the Refoss Smart Garage Door Opener.
Can the existing wall button still be used after installing the Refoss app?
Yes. You can control your garage door with the app or an existing switch.
