Technology meets birdwatching!
The bird feeder camera system is fun to have. I get to see all the different types of birds flying around my neighborhood. The camera is very clear and the App is pretty good at distinguishing bird species and tells you useful information about their specific breed. We found it is heavy once food is loaded, so be sure to install in a secure spot that you can access.

    Birds getting stuck

    I’ve had this feeder almost 5 months and so far 3 birds have died in it and a couple others thankfully were found before they suffered. The smaller birds are able to get in the feeder through the opening where the bird food comes out of when the feeder is empty or close to being empty and then they are unable to get out unless someone sees them in time to save them.

    Best gift ever!

    It’s been 9 days since I hooked this bird feeder up, and it’s become a problem. Everywhere I go, once there is an idle moment I am marveling at clips of our bird activity. The other day I was at a restaurant showing a friend videos of the cardinals that had started visiting the feeder that day,, and the table next to us interrupted their dinner because they wanted to see,- so my problem is now affecting strangers too.
    Luckily this was a gift from my wife, so the other day when I apologized for interrupting her with a bird video, she says, “I’m just glad to know I got you the perfect gift”.
    This was very easy to set up, and includes the hardware needed to mount onto a wall or tree, and a strap that can be used to attach to just about anything I mounted it to the top of a fence using the strap and secured the solar panel further down the fence where the sun hits strongest.
    The video attached has a sampling of the birds that have come to dine with us, having that full face view is so fun.

    I was never a bird guy, but today I stood in a store for a good five minutes evaluating the various bird seeds and trying to figure out which mixes my birds would like the best. So there’s that…

    It may be obvious by now, but I highly recommend this feeder!

    Very nice solid feeder, with a great show to enjoy all the birds. The feeder itself was easy to put together and install, with multiple options. We currently use the temp strap option as we want to move it around and test out locations. Will likely do a permanent mount at some point. Love that it disconnects from mount very easily as we bring it in at night, keep the racoons and deer out of it! The pictures and video are a very good quality, was quite surprised with how good it was. So far no issues with the power, keeps fully charged with the solar panel, so remote installs are a no issue.
